It was just last week that Nigerians were delighted by the news of digital content transmitter TSTV’s launch. The company offers a unique pay-as-you-go package.
But unfortunately, TSTV seems to already be in legal trouble following content infringement claims made by another company.
The Nation reports that The beIN has leveled content infringement complaints to the Nigerian Copyright Commission. beIN, a Qatari sports and entertainment company which provides subscription services to viewers across the world, claimed in the letter to the NCC that there is no existing contractual agreement between it and TSTV to beam its contents to the Nigerian audience.
