Diezani Ordered to Forfeit her 56 Houses

Former Nigeria’s Petroleum Minister Diezani Allison Madueke has been ordered by a federal high court judge in Lagos to forfeit fifty six of her illegally acquired houses. The properties are valued at $22 million and located in choice areas across Nigeria; including Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.  The order comes following the corruption allegations that have trailed the ex minister since the end of Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency.  The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)  has overtime sought the forfeiture of the properties by the ex minister, arguing that they are…
