Former Nigeria’s Petroleum Minister Diezani Allison Madueke has been ordered by a federal high court judge in Lagos to forfeit fifty six of her illegally acquired houses. Notorious kidnapper, Chukwudibem Onwuamadike (aka Evans)  tried to escape from Police custody by offering a $100.000 bribe to guards on duty. The Monkeypox Disease Keeps Spreading across Southern Nigeria

Monkeypox, the deadly and highly contagious disease which was earlier reported in Bayelsa State has now spread to neighbouring states. About thirteen people with symptoms of the disease are already  hospitalised in both Bayelsa and Rivers States.  Now Akwa Ibom has diagnosed its first case. The Nigerian Customs Service Area II Command in Port Harcourt has seized three containers loaded with dozens of illegally-imported rice.
